A popular spot for tourists and locals alike, Flynns Beach is located just 5 minutes drive south of the heart of Port Macquarie.
An established residential area, with parklands, reserves, a number of beautiful beaches and a vibrant local shopping strip with cafes, takeaway shops and restaurants. Flynns Beach itself is almost 500 metres long, nestled between rocky headlands, offering shaded grassy areas, a kiosk, surf club and patrolled swimming.
The area features a number of nature reserves, historic Roto House and the Koala Hospital which attracts international visitors. Flynns Beach expanded in the 1960s and 1970s, especially with tourist accommodation, and then enjoyed another surge in population between 2001 and 2011.
